Ryerson employees organized food boxes to deliver to students in need after the university shifted to essential services. Nursing students worked in ICUs, COVID test sites and vaccine clinics. A Ryerson employee started Vaccine Hunters Canada to help people line up appointments. And while the pandemic trend of baking led to a shortage of flour, one generous soul helped first-time bakers by taping sourdough starter to telephone poles.
